Is chewing gum OK during an interview?
Here is a riddle for you: When is it ok to chew gum and give an interview in front of millions of people?
Answer: When you are a snowboarder who has just won the first gold medal in snowboarding at the Winter Olympics! And he was phenomenal! Sage Kotsenburg of the U.S. was the first American to get a gold medal this past weekend. Sage, who is down to earth, is very likeable and authentic. His relaxed style, smile and vocabulary make him very approachable and fun. Of course, the gum wouldn’t always work (and it was gone by the time he was doing interviews later on in the day.
